Terms of Service

Note: this page is a plain-English template describing how the app works today. It is not legal advice — please have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it.

1. Accepting these terms

Everyday Spanish (Panama Edition) ("Everyday Spanish", "we", "us") is a language-learning service for Panamanian Spanish, available on the web and as a mobile app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

You need an account to save progress and use paid features. Accounts are managed by our sign-in provider, Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide a working email address so we can reach you about your account.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at connect@geteverydayspanish.com.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Everyday Spanish offers a Free plan and paid subscriptions (Core and Plus), each available monthly or annually. Prices are shown on our pricing page before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to break or overload it, scraping content at scale, reselling access, sharing one account among many people, or using AI features to generate unlawful or abusive content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Content and AI features

Lessons, decks, audio, and other learning materials are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

Some features generate practice content or audio using third-party AI services (such as OpenAI and ElevenLabs). AI output can be imperfect — it is provided for learning practice and without any guarantee of accuracy.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
